Beating the internet to a news story
It’s not often Platinax News picks up a news story before the major online news outlets - but it was nice to see that Google’s accidental deletion of the Google Blog was covered on Platinax News before places such as SEW and Threadwatch.
Sometimes Platinax can and does report on stories from experience, which aren’t covered by the major media distributors - such as the problems UK banks are having adapting to IE7.
And while I do try and raise the profile of stories that may be of interest to anyone doing business online, and try to cover some more obscure news stories, it’s often a case of catch-up with the other media publishers.
So it was nice to see that sometimes, Platinax can actually get in early with a story.
EDIT: My bad - SEW already covered the story - the day before. :)
