Some hot free authority links you may like to look at…

A couple of interesting stories via Threadwatch:

1. Google: We Said Take More Notes

Look at the story again - it’s telling you the Google Notes are publically viewable on Google.

The links in Notes are *not* nofollowed, and are not blocked in robots.txt…

So - free Google.com links from Google Notes? :)

Expect this loophole to get closed up soon enough.

2. Students - Pay Your Gambling Debts With .EDU Links

So, Full Tilt is mass emailing students for edu links?

And you want edu links?

Follow the trail of potentially available edu links Full Tilt has set up for you: linkdomain:FullTiltPoker.com +site:edu

Expectation is that these links are *too* hot - Google & co *have* to be looking more closely at these.

Maybe one for the spammers and short-term affiliates to jump on, but I’d be too concerned about risking sites in long-term development with these.
