The Dangers of Romantic Candles

I wanted to make the bedroom romantic, so over the past couple of months I’ve developed a collection of dozens of scented candles.

They’re spread about the bedroom furniture and laminate floor, and when all alight the room is very romantic.

Last night my trousers were thrown off in a moment of passion - then moments later there was a funny smell and the room had suddenly gotten brighter.

The trousers had landed on top of cluster of candles and burst into flames.

I was immediately able to smother the fire, but my £60 goth trousers were ruined. So was my ardour. :)

Good job I guess that we hadn’t yet got the new carpet fitted for the bedroom, or it could’ve been £600 ruined.

Lesson learned: no candles allowed on the floor anymore. :)
