Bye bye Brian’s Business Blog

Platinax is currently undergoing redevelopment, and with that it’s time to say bye bye to Brian’s Business Blog.

The key reason?

It’s a crap blog.

I read various other blogs online, and the good ones are:

*fresh!
*informative!
*interesting!

I’ve managed to fail on all 3 here.

I have some excuse, though - since the last Platinax redevelopment I found myself separating the actual useful and informative stuff into the Articles & Reviews and Interviews sections.

The overall result was a weakened spread of content, that left little but small personal commentary here.

Which doesn’t really justify a place on Platinax.

So what I’m going to do is this:

1. Set up a new blog on http://www.platinax.co.uk/blog/
2. Shut down the existing content sections - articles, reviews, etc - and move them into the new blog
3. Focus on developing feature-rich content on the new Platinax Blog that is

*fresh!
*informative!
*interesting!

4. Move Brian’s Business Blog to a new domain and redirect the URL’s there.

The result should be a sleeker and stronger Platinax, and a blog that is actually worth reading.

Meanwhile, I can continue my self-indulgent side - with more personal introspection on the problems of dealing with new age prophets, children, Scotland, and anything else otherwise unsuitable for a business platform - to my heart’s content on a new site.
