Invest: now
So I’ve mentioned that I’ve taken up publishing news, and that since Google set up iGoogle getting a news site syndicated by Google News has become a lot harder.
Having recently read that Google are now looking to host major content, that means I see a further closing on the opportunity of getting new sites syndicated.
That means any other news publishing site I have in development now (and I have a few) need extra investment and writers now, for submission over the next 2 months tops.
Because otherwise, it maybe become practically impossible to get a site accepted.
And investing now can only bring in returns for the long term.
In the meantime, looks like I may be signing up with the Press Association in order to access their news feeds, but also supplement these with company-specific news feeds where possible.
The window of opportunity is closing - better to be on the right side when it closes.
