Fancy Dress

What’s really interesting running the Platinax Business Directory is the type of submissions that it attracts.

While not expensive, the £14.95 submission fee is enough to separate the wheat from the chaff, and there are very few low quality sites that get submitted.

What’s really interesting is how many paid submissions I get from multinational companies. In fact, the vast majority of submissions appear to be legitimate businesses - or certainly give the appearance of - which is precisely what the directory is aimed at.

Every now and then something a little more unusual comes along, and I had to love this site: All Fancy Dress.com.

I love any kind of period clothing, and while some of the men’s costumes are obviously a bit tacky, there’s a really great range of interesting options for all the family.

No, I have nothing to do with this site excepting accepting the directory submission - but I do recommend the odd Saturday night in where you try and dress differently to spice things up. :)

On a business point as well, this isn’t the first time I’ve blogged about submissions I’ve received at Platinax, so I guess that’s another potential benefit of submission - certainly whoever runs this fancy dress shop has gotten more than their money’s worth by being blogged here as well. :)

Meanwhile, I’m going to visit the men’s history section for myself, the women’s vampire costumes for her, as well as show my eldest daughter the princess costumes for girls. :)
