Database restore after db failed
The database at iBrian has been acting up recently - I had thought that a “repair tables” in phpmyadmin had done the job, but then came onto the site today to find a single post displayed - apparently everything was lost.
Anyway, I uploaded a backup, upgraded Wordpress, and all seems to be running fine now.
I know - I don’t have many readers - but anyone who is and runs a website, and/or cares about search engines, will have gotten far more tips out of the ibrian blog than you’ll ever get from most SEO blogs. :)
Seriously, just look. :D
Meanwhile, the importance of keeping regular database backups is being drilled in - I remember someone once told me they had a script that would email them a copy of a site database on a cron job - will have to get that, and set it up on my most important sites. :)

I’m on of those not so many readers. You’re on my feed.
Glad to see it’s all running smoothly now.

Hopefully you’ve had a few tips you’ve found useful - if not, feel free to ask. :)
