If you buy DVDs you must be a film pirate…
As a birthday treat, I ordered myself Seasons 1 & 2 of Babylon 5 on DVD, from Amazon. At times Babylon 5 was the most innovative, imaginative, brilliantly scripted science fiction show ever shown on TV - but faded with ignomity after studio mismanagement led to a loss of plot focus and an insane depreciation in script quality.
Each of the Season DVD’s comes with 5 mini cases. The overall season case contains a booklet advising against film piracy. The inside of each mini-case containts a leaflet advising against film piracy.
Let’s add that up - I bought two DVD collections, so the studio thought fit to throw 12 pieces of stationary at me telling me that film piracy is bad and can involve poor quality recordings.
Du-uh. That’s why I bought the frickin DVD’s instead of getting pirate versions.
